Thanks in advance to everyone would help me and excuse me for my English and for any mistake or omission I made writing the post (I'm a new user). This is the classic way to manually adjust screen brightness in Windows 10. From there you can adjust it to your liking. I cant remember what is the right order, but the Optimus and brightness control does work with the integrated LCD. Click on the plus sign on the left side of it, then click the plus sign of the 'Display Brightness'. UPDATE: This method does not work in recent versions of Windows 10. Press that, and then scroll down until you find display. If I connect to the computer an external USB keyboard, the arrows of the USB keyboard work properly, but fn + right-arrow is no longer a valid shortcut for increasing brightness level. Use Control Panel to adjust brightness in Windows 10. I send a massage to Microsoft feedback hub hoping microsoft to find a solution before 1903 update. Is this correct? Could instead be a problem not related to drivers? If you dont want unistall kb you can first adjust the brithness then disable pnp monitor in device manager. Navigate to driver tab and click on RollBack driver. Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select properties. At this point I guess it could be a driver problem. To rollback the driver, you may follow the steps below: Press Windows + R on the desktop screen. If I enter the BIOS, also here the two arrows won't work. I also tried to run Xubuntu on a live USB, and also there I found the same two problems. I've already tried to re-install Windows 7 Ultimate with no success. How to proceed in order to fix these problems. I don't have a deep understanding of the computer architecture, so my question is there is no way to access the brightness control, neither with fn + right-arrow nor by means of the display settings available in the control panel (the slider does not appear in the proper page of the control panel).right- and down-arrow don't work, i.e., when I press one of them nothing happens (but I don't think they are physically broken). I have an Acer Aspire 5680 PC, with Windows 7 Ultimate.
